Our Quality System
The Quality System at our Rocky Mount, NC manufacturing facility was ISO 9001 registered by the international certification body, Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) way back in 1992. DEP was one of the first of approximately 300 companies in the USA to become ISO registered. We have since received registration from LRQA to the revised ISO 90001:2008 standard.
Our Quality Products
Draka Elevator Product's cables are manufactured to the highest quality standards in the world. They are designed to meet fire and safety requirements of NEC, CEC, UL, CSA, IEC, and EN. Our wireway products also meet UL and CSA requirements. 'Draka's seal of approval' partners meet our requirements for quality and durability. We literally search the world for items that will make your installation safer and faster at a fair price.
Draka Elevator Products has a well equipped testing laboratory that utilizes state of the art equipment. We ensure raw materials meet our requirements prior to use in manufacturing.
Specified test, measurements, and inspections are conducted at various steps in the manufacturing process from receipt of parts and raw materials, to finished cables, kits, and wireway products. Our systems and plans ensure that quality is built in every step of the way.
