Personnel Announcement: Hemant Bhagwat

Hemant Bhagwat has joined Draka Elevator Products in June 2009 as our SAP CC Support Specialist in the Rocky Mount office. He reports to Eric Standal in the Information Technology department.

He achieved his MBA in Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University in 2009. Hemant has over four years of experience in SAP and Supply Chain Management and has worked for Capgemini Consulting, Novozymes NA and Satyam Computer Services Ltd.

His professional background includes Supply Chain projects for Bank of America, Progress Energy, Novozymes NA; and SAP technology consulting for Unilever, Schneider Electric and Valvoline. His responsibilities included designing technical solutions in various SAP modules such as Materials Management, Advanced Planning & Optimization, Sales & Distribution, and NetWeaver XI.

Hemant has in-depth experience in SAP, ABAP, Idocs, EDI, CRM and HTML. Before pursuing his MBA, he earned his bachelor degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Government College of Engineering Pune, India.

He has worked in the United Kingdom, France, and India. He has been affiliated with APICS and ISM. He enjoys playing outdoor sports, hiking and watching soccer. We are happy to have Hemant join the DEP team!
