Draka Announces the Retirement of Richard Dufresne

Rocky Mount, December 05, 2006

With the appointment of Jean-Pierre Lapointe as Canadian Sales Manager for Draka, Richard Dufresne can finally take his well deserved retirement. Richard has served Draka Industrial customers and the Elevator industry for 33 years. It is with great mixed emotion that we wish Richard the best in his retirement years and hope that he finds enjoyable paths beyond the industry that he greatly enjoyed.

With his leaving, we are confident that Jean Pierre will step in and continue the level of service you have come to expect from Richard. Please welcome Jean-Pierre as he will be traveling during the next several months to meet all of his customers. We are pleased to have him on board as part of the new Canadian team. Greg Suwala will also assist Jean-Pierre in Central Canada visiting customers as well as being the leader of our Customer Service department in Burlington. Avec la nomination de Jean-Pierre Lapointe au poste de directeur national des ventes chez Draka, Richard Dufresne va pouvoir finalement prendre sa retraite beaucoup plus que méritée. Richard a été au service de nos clients industriels et d'ascenseurs au cours des 33 dernières années. C'est à la fois avec des sentiments de reconnaissance et de gratitude que nous lui souhaitons une retraite heureuse avec sa famille.

Nous savons que Jean-Pierre saura relever le défi de vous offrir un service de qualité similaire à celui que Richard vous a habitué durant toutes ces années. Au cours des prochains mois, Jean-Pierre ira vous rencontrer individuellement et nous sommes convaincus que vous serez, tout comme nous, heureux que Jean-Pierre soit avec à notre équipe. Greg Suwala assistera Jean-Pierre en Ontario comme représentant et continuera son rôle de leader de notre département du service à la clientèle localisé à Burlington.
