Draka Elevator Products Receives ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Certifications

Rocky Mount, NC April 8, 2009

Draka Elevator Products, Inc. has spent the last three months preparing for these certifications and going through the audit for the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, which occurred April 1. With our customers growing concern for environmental and quality issues, we have been focused on formalizing our strength in these areas. We are happy to announce that DEP is being recommended for both certificates. The recommendation has to go through a review process that will take about 4 – 6 weeks. This is usually a formality and we expect to receive our certificate within 6 weeks. In addition, you can expect Draka to continue our efforts to maintain and further contribute to our “green” status, while maintaining a quality environment.
