Printed Circuit Board Program

This service covers over 1500 PC boards from 14 manufacturers with new boards added regularly. There are three options with this program.

REPAIR AND RETURN THE BOARD: The most cost-effective option. Draka Elevator Products PC board repair process includes troubleshooting, replacement of defective components and final testing. Our repairs have a 99.999% rate of success.

EXCHANGE THE BOARD: This is your best option if fast turn-around is needed. Place an exchange order with Draka Elevator Products and a refurbished, tested and warranted board can be delivered overnight.

PURCHASE A BOARD: Versions of all the PC boards listed are available for purchase and immediate delivery.

Program highlights include simulator testing of the entire board. This method may find defective components that a point to point check may not find help to improve the reliability of the board. Also, depending on the board, upgrades may be made to the board to improve long term reliability at no additional charge. Our board repair facility has implemented ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) which is another way of stating continuous improvement. It means our board repair facility collects data on defects and works to implement process improvements to reduce these turn-backs to improve quality and customer satisfaction. Our board repair technicians are IPC certified (the standard for board repairs), ensuring a quality repair. All floors are ESD protected and all technicians follow proper ESD procedures when handling the boards. All boards are placed in special ESD-protected bags.
